The Word of God does the Work of God.

And before we can do what God’s word says, we must know ‘What does it say?’

Our goal is to make learning God's word easier and fun, and encouraging Christian growth and character as quizzers spend time with other Christians. We know that the word of God does the work of God in our hearts.

So the book is divided up each month and between team members. For instance, a new quizzer would be responsible for one new chapter each month. Experienced quizzers will do more chapters each month.

They memorize the chapter and are prepared to answer questions from the text. It is YFC/YEA quizzing style and rules.

There are 5 regular monthly quizzes. The regular quizzers also have one Citywide tournament.

The regular quiz schedule is to quiz once a month from September thru February on a Saturday.

The monthly quizzes are usually at LSCC.

The registration cost for regular season quizzing is normally $20 per quizzer but it is only $10 for a first year quizzer. The cost of the quiz book is $5. Team shirt cost is usually around $12-$15.

In addition to the regular quizzes, participation in several tournaments is an option that we strongly encourage, but it is not required. (There is no tournaments for the Junior Quizzers).
